Nanshy Eye Brush Set

I would usually describe myself as a little bit of a make-up novice, but really, when I think about it, this description doesn't quite sit right.

I mean I'm a girl for goodness sake

I've been applying make up pritty much since the age of five, when I would steal my mum's make up bag and emerge from my room hours later resembling Coco The Clown's baby sister.

So I figured, an actual accurate description of my make-up "skills" would be to say that I'm not very good at applying it.  And this is because I tend to not be very patient, and simply just stick to the boring basics of making myself look semi-human first thing in a morning and then try get it done as fast as possible.

I blame this little beauty flaw partly on the fact that I 100% do not have the right tools for the job.

This would be why my excitement levels rocketed when a very professional looking package landed through my door recently, containing a set of wonderful Nanshy Eye Brushes*.

With tools as sophisticated as these, there's hope of making a professional out of me yet!

For anyone who doesn't know, Nanshy is a company dedicated to bringing people the best, highest quality make-up accessories on the market.

They provide a wide range of make-up accessories, from foundation brushes to blending sponges, and everything they source is cruelty free - and these eye make up brushes are of no exception.

As well as caring for the animals and being PETA-approved, the ultra soft silky brushes are made from antibacterial synthetic bristles and are 100% Vegan friendly.

They not only care for your eyes by being immensely soft and gentle, but they also keep eyes healthy and prevent infections - clever as well as brilliant!

I loved these brushes immediately.

The packaging is simple with no fuss.  The main focus is the product, and the brushes really stand out because of this.

I found the back of the box really useful too - it has diagrams of each brush and what job they are designed to do.  I also found useful information at regarding what each brush should be used for

Nanshy are definitely educating me and showing me the way!

I found the wooden handles of the brushes really sturdy, and because they are covered in a smooth, pearly coating, they were so easy to hold...and looked great too.

Another major plus - the brushes are a really handy size.  The can easily be carried about in a handbag - or even a clutch bag - making looking beautiful on the go an absolute doddle.

Each brush is designed to do a different job to help dramatise the look of the eye make up, and there are seven brushes in total:

  • Flat Definer
  • Angled Detailer
  • Eyeshadow Blender
  • Eye Crease Brush
  • Tapered Crease Brush
  • Precise Bent Eyeliner Brush
  • Large Shader Brush

Personally, I particularly liked the Flat Definer and the Precise Bent Eyeliner Brush - after years of struggling to achieve "the smoky eye" and coming out looking like a panda, these two little beauties helped me apply the darker shadow perfectly.

The brushes all feel so silky soft on the skin - I could have used them for hours

They can also be washed without having to worry about losing bristles, so you know your eyes wont have any of last weeks make up dragged over them for a second time.

!Nanshy and their brilliant brushes get a huge recommendation from me!

They are being offered at the moment at a special introductory price when you sign up with Nanshy:

From make up professional to beauty novice, these brushes are definitely the way to go
