Guest Post By The Lovely Kelly at Kelloves.com

Hi, I'd like to start by thanking Simone for offering me a space for my Christmassy ramblings! Christmas is my favourite time of the year and there are so many fun and exciting tasks that need to be completed on the run up to the big day, that I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you!
Decorating the Tree
Not only is this great fun in itself, but its a constant and glittery reminder that the festive period is upon us. I usually try to get mine up at the very start of December (you don't have long each year when it's appropriate to have it up and I like to make the most of it), but I was a bit unorganised this year and it went up late. I counteracted this by buying a new tree! It's much bigger than the old one which meant we needed some new decorations to make sure it was fully covered. The new chocolate Christmas tree decorations are a cute and delicious addition that sit nicely alongside a lifetimes worth of accumulated bit of tinsel, baubles, snowflakes and whatever else we can find to chuck on there!
Christmas Films
One of the best no-effort ways to get that Christmas spirit flowing is to put on a Christmas film. There are so many great films to choose from these days, and since a lot end up on TV they shouldn't be too had to crack down. We tend to kick off the festive season with 'Elf' and slowly work our way through to 'It's A Wonderful Life' with many stop offs in between.
Christmas Baking
I'll admit I haven't got around to any Christmas Baking yet this year (the picture was from last years efforts), which means I'll be in a frenzy in the kitchen all weekend.  I like to think of myself as not bad at baking but I seem completely unable to master the humble mince pie... I hear practice makes perfect!
Christmas Baths
I don't generally need an excuse to buy bath bombs, but if a ready-made excuse like Christmas presents itself I'll definitely take advantage of it! The combination of hot water on a cold night, the lovely wintery scents and cute festive designs brings me seasonal joy!
Christmas Jumpers
Of course, all of the above (except maybe the bath) should be done while wearing your finest Christmas Jumper! My Christmas jumper collection isn't as big as my Christmas DVD collection yet, but it is steadily growing year on year and my latest addition is this festive little number from George at Asda. He's not only cute and cosy, but the best thing is his little nose lights up when you press it!
I do of course love buying and wrapping presents too but at the moment trying to find places round the house I can hide them where little eyes wont spot them is stressing me out so it hasn't made the list this year!
