THE AMAZING LEEDS MAY MEET

If you haven't heard what I got up to this weekend, then where the devil have you been hiding??

Mine, and another 29 fabulous ladies' Twitters, Facebooks, Instagrams - everythings - have been declaring to the social media world that our excitement levels were increasing (to quite dangerous levels) in anticipation of the amazing

!! LEEDS MAY MEET !!

And my-oh-my, what a fantastic day it was.

The ever amazing Hayley wowed us all with her pure amazingness.

This lady has some fantastic "event creating" skills that is for sure.

Myself and Kel arrived in Leeds, absolutely laden down with  - well with tea and cakes.

Like you do

And we headed straight for our venue for the day - Baracoa on Call Lane.

We were already surrounded by tables and tables full of beautiful cakes, but seeing as the meet was partly about eating the glorious things, more and more kept arriving with each person that walked through the door.

Kellie's Malteser Tiffin went down an absolute treat - it was just bloody amazing!

Total Calorific Goodness.

But of course, there was more to the day than simply enjoying all that sweet stuff.

Lots of lovely brands popped in to have a chat with us and I headed straight for Cohorted.

I mean with these little lovelies on offer, how could I not make them my first port of call...

Bubblegum yumminess.

Cohorted have seriously taken Twitter by storm since they launched just three short months ago.
By offering up a whole host of fantastic beauty items at a fraction of their usual retail price they have caused quite a stir among the blogging community.

Who doesn't love a beauty bargain.

But even with crashed sites and almost broken websites due to them being in such high demand, Cohorted are already planning on introducing some huge changes to the way they operate in the very near future.

Changes that sound quite exciting to be honest.

Also on hand on the day, to totally tease me with details of their new spa were the ever fabulous Lush ladies.

Their Hard Days Night massage sounds out of this world and something I need to get myself booked in for very soon.

We were also treated to a bathbomb making class involving one of my favourite bathbombs - Butterball

And Lush were more than generous with their fab goody bags too.

I  can't wait to delve into mine properly.

Being a lover of all things pretty, I was so pleased to hear that the ladies at Uncommon Nonsense would be bringing a selection of their dresses to the meet for us to take a little peek at.

I love the unicorn dress on the website at the moment - it may just have to be mine...!

Uncommon Nonesense are a Leeds based dress makers who make every item by hand, using UK sourced materials.

They even offer a bespoke service totally free of charge to ensure that every lady gets the dress they want in that absolute perfect fit.

So if you have a larger bust or prefer a longer length hemline, you get exactly what you want.

How brilliant.

Next up to entice us with their beautiful products were the lovely ESPA ladies who really did spoil us.

ESPA pride themselves on creating some of the world's finest spa's and use the purest of extracts to make skincare products fitting of such settings.

We were talked through some of these amazing products, and were then given a Radiance Collection gift set, a serum and a beautiful smelling foam bath.

Which trust me - is just so relaxing.

Rock, Pamper, Scissors also popped by to say Hello, to give us some information and to photo-bomb the odd picture too.

The company is Leeds based, and offer an on-line way of searching out, researching and then booking all of those important hair appointments, nail appointments and beauty sessions.

Rock, Pamper, Scissors take out the mundane task of ringing around everywhere, booking appointments to then find that you're actually disappointed with your place of choice once you arrive.

Very convenient and time saving.

I'm also hearing new ventures are in the pipeline from the company in the near future too.

I am quite disappointed that I didn't get much of a change to chat to the Mr from Eve Taylor as much as I would have liked - there were a great many compliments flying around from the other ladies about the brand and the products on offer.

But I just couldn't get myself over or involved, but I am desperate to try out the samples we were given.

Eve Taylor are a skincare and aromatherapy company who were initially created solely for use by professional therapists.
Then in 2005 the brand developed a retail range to allow everyone to enjoy the products in their own homes.

And they do sound like some fab products.

Ooooh - and how can I forget - I also won this fandabbydosey nail art kit from Rio Beauty.

How massively exciting...but a kit like this of course will have a post all of it's very own.

The meet was such a huge success - I loved every minute of it, especially catching up with lovely blogger ladies, old and new.

Hayley treated us even more at the end of the meet too and gave each and every one of us an amazing, rather huge, goody bag - which I also feel deserves it's very own post.

Thank you so much again Hayley for all of your hard work.

Such an amazing day, with such amazing people
