Merumaya - Youth Preservation Moisturiser

I've certainly become a little bit of a product hoarder in recent months.

I don't even think I realised how much I do actually own until this weekend when my father-in-law popped round to my house and couldn't believe the sheer amount of stuff that I had lined up in my bathroom.

Oopsie

But - what's a girl to do?

I just really like "stuff"...lots of lovely stuff is great.

And something new to hit my collection of skincare "stuff" recently was the rather good looking Youth Preservation Moisturiser from Merumaya (find here).

The moisturiser is said to provide "rapid moisturisation and long-term hydration" - which I certainly found to be true - and it will supposedly help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles too...sounds like a winner to me already.

Preserve that youth for as long as possible - yes please!

Now, the world of Merumaya was initially introduced to me through a brief email invitation to a great sounding event that was held in Sheffield recently.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend which was a huge shame because I would have found out all about the inner workings of the contents within this little bottle.

Anyway, my disappointment subsided a little when I was very kindly sent a bottle of moisturiser to trial anyway - how nice is that.

I do love those lovely little silver linings

So I started and began using the moisturiser after cleansing my face both morning and evening, just over two weeks ago now, and I must say, I'm really rather impressed with it.

Being all sensible, I read the instructions before I began and because my chin in particular can be prone to horrible spot outbreaks, I listened to what I was reading and avoided applying too much product in this area.

I must admit, at first I wasn't all too keen on the scent at all, and if I'm being totally honest, whilst I am used to it now it's still not my favourite smell in the whole world.

But putting this slight issue aside, the cream does do a very good job at making my skin feel instantly revitalised and soft - even after taking a battering from all of this horrible cold weather lately and then being exposed to one too many warming heaters, radiators or fires.

My skin is not happy.

But no matter it's level of dryness, this moisturiser, which instantly absorbs into my face, totally sorts it out.

I'm left with a very soft, plumped, very refreshed looking layer of skin which is much easier to work my make-up magic on.

I love it and it is going to be ideal over the winter months I can already tell.

Even though this moisturiser costs £29.50 for 30ml, you only need a small amount each time you use it because it is really rich and it rubs over the face so well.

I would probably say just one, or a maximum two, pumps worth of product is needed at any one time.

I'll be working my way through it for ages now won't I.

Good.

Because I do like this Merumaya stuff quite a lot...
