The only problem I find with Christmas (apart from the fact that I eat wayyy too much) is re-finding my "get up and go" once all the festivities are over.
I just really can not be bothered to do anything, and anything I do do just feels like one big almighty effort.
Take yesterday for example, I had lots of good intentions of getting myself outside, taking lots of lovely photographs - even a few outfit shots - writing up at least one blog post and simply getting myself a little organised.
Did I do any of this?
No I did not
Instead, I mooched about on the sofa, watching lots of rubbish TV, then when it was too late to actually be productive I complained that I was bored...and then I mooched about on the sofa a little more and stayed up until midnight re-watching the first four episodes of Fringe.
You see - totally out of routine.
And today - well...today is Sunday, so I suppose it is the obvious day to take everything a tad slower than usual, but again, I've done nothing...
But I'm on it...it's 2.30pm and I am just about to get myself dressed and ready for the day...errr...the afternoon...
...see - the idea at being un-lazy is there...
And it has actually presented the perfect opportunity to share one of my newest favourite products with you.
See - all is not lost after all.
Anyway, this "something" is a product I have only very recently discovered.
And it is the Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Luxe Cream Wash
This stuff is bloomin' brilliant - I love it.
And I only came across it by being a tad selfish if I'm honest...
But as we all know, Soap & Glory have their ah-mazing Christmas discounts every year on their huge gift products in Boots don't they.
Well this year was no exception, and I actually managed to get my hands on not one, but two of these extra large gift sets, but, neither of them were for me.
* g a s p *
One was to give away as a huge Christmas gift, and the other I opened up and then split the products down a little bit to give a little "Soap & Glory Added Extra" to a few other gifts I had already bought.
Aren't I just lovely.
Well, perhaps not so lovely really, because as I said, I was a tad selfish and made sure that I managed to keep this lil' tube to one side all for myself.
I just really wanted it and it's lovely sweet-smelling goodness for me...
...so I kept it...
~ Shhhh ~
And I don't even really do showers either - I much prefer baths - but I wasn't letting this stop me - and I'm so glad now that it didn't because Whipped Clean makes the perfectest body wash, be it used in the shower or in the bath.
I actually adore it
The product is a really vivid white colour and takes a little rubbing into the skin before it starts to lather up - in it's own creamy way - but when it does it rubs over the skin beautifully, and the scent - well - it is just simply amazing.
I adore Bakewell Tarts you see (yum!) and that is exactly what this reminds me of...obviously that will be all of the almonds within it, and then teaming that with lots of lovely sweet vanilla and pistachios - oooh it makes for a beautiful combination.
Being a "shower butter" you can probably imagine that this product is very rich, very thick and feels very luxurious on the skin.
It is packed with Cocoa and Shea butters, as well as Grapeseed, Almond and Macadamia nut oils which totally rid me of my dry skin "problem areas" - I didn't even feel as though I needed any extra moisturiser after I had used it either.
So for the next hour or so, I think I shall simply wallow in lots of almond scented water and will make sure I enjoy every second of it.
Who knows, it may even encourage me to actually do something productive with the rest of my afternoon...
...or I may just stick on a fresh pair of PJs, resume position on the sofa and pop on another movie.
Who knows eh...
But what I do know is that this product is certainly my newest favourite
