River Island's New Season Offerings

A lazy Sunday afternoon.

The boys have left for an afternoon of WWE fun at Leeds First Direct Arena
(which I am overly jealous about)

So I am home alone.

House work is more-or-less done...or as done as it is going to be.

So what is there for me to do?

Hmmmm...

Only one thing for it.

! SHOPPING !

...on-line of course...I'm not getting dressed today, forget that!

And where did I first stumble and immediately come across a whole heap of lovely goodies?

Why River Island of course.

I've always liked River Island as a place to go when I need something majorly out-there, a little bit different or something really classy to help make a statement out of an outfit.

I love their slogan tee's and pencil skirt combos...and the footwear - wow - that certainly never disappoints.

So what did I find that I really, really want from the new collection?

All of this lovely little lot...

I just love the burnt orange colour of this maxi dress - it would certainly add a little bit of colour to these dreary, dark wintery nights.

I think I would team it with all gold accessories - barely there gold heels, a chunky gold bracelet, a gold box clutch bag and a long, striking gold necklace.

Totally party ready.

Fab

But naturally, there were another couple of other "dressy" outfits that totally caught my eye too...
Each one is just so different - perfect for the upcoming party season.

After the dresses, I had a few swoon-moments over the range of amazingly stylish, winter-ready coats.

There were really just so many lovely ones, but I managed to whittle my favourites down to just three...
I particularly love the white one - very elegant.

Hmmm...trust me when I say I'm absolutely fighting with myself to not totally burn my bank card out right now and just buy everything, but I'm fearful that if I succumb to temptation, Santa will stick me on the Naughty List for spending too much cash this close to the big day.

Let's just hope he spots my favourites and decides I can have a few of them come December 25th...
